IQAC EVENTS 2020-21

In line with the shift to online education, IQAC-LSR conducted a virtual event on the Use of Google Classrooms for the faculty of the college. Two speakers were invited for the event- Dr Pavithra Bhardwaj and Dr Nikhil Rajput, who provided a hands-on session to the faculty of the college on the various features of Google Classroom.

The Department of Mathematics in collaboration with IQAC-LSR conducted an online session on Linear Algebra and its Applications with Dr. Ghosh, Department of Mathematics, IIT Hyderabad.

The Department of Psychology in collaboration with IQAC-LSR conducted an online interaction on Narrative Psychology with Prof. Molly Andrews. She is a professor of Political Psychology, and Co-director of the Centre for Narrative Research at the University of East London.

The Department of Mathematics in collaboration with IQAC-LSR conducted an online session on Applications of Hamilton-Jacobi Equations in Shape from Shading with Dr. Gowda from TIFR, Bangalore.

The Department of Elementary Education in collaboration with IQAC-LSR conducted an online workshop from 2-10 January 2021 on Envisioning Constructivist Science Classrooms with school science teachers.

The Department of Clinical Psychology, All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH) in collaboration with IQAC and Department of Psychology, Lady Shri Ram College for Women (LSR) organised an interactive online workshop on 28th January, 2021. The focus of the workshop was disability and its definition, assessment, and related policy measures.

The Department of Mathematics in collaboration with IQAC-LSR hosted the online annual ‘Anupama Dua Paper Presentation and Scholarship Function’ providing students opportunities to present their research work in a public domain.

The Department of Psychology in collaboration with IQAC-LSR hosted the first ever online National Paper Presentation Competition witnessing the participation of 8 student teams from colleges in different parts of the country.

The Department of Elementary Education in collaboration with IQAC-LSR conducted an online workshop titled Pedagogical Opportunities for Technology Enabled Explorations in the Mathematics Classroom (22-26 March 2021) for Mathematics school teachers.

The Department of Elementary Education in collaboration with IQAC-LSR conducted an online session titled Educational Philosophy of Gandhi ‘Nai Taleem’ on the occasion of the Martyrdom of Mahatma Gandhi. Mr. A. Annamalai renowned Gandhian ideologue and director of National Gandhi Museum, New Delhi and Gandhian Study Centre, Chennai was the speaker.


LSR with support of IQAC proudly hosted the Asian Undergraduate Summit (AUS) 2021 on 2nd June 2021 as Overseas Host University (OHU) in collaboration with National University of Singapore (NUS). In view of Covid-19 AUS was held online and LSR took the opportunity to organize its first online International Undergraduate Students Conference.
