College initiative for the implementation of the UGCF-2022
The Undergraduate Curriculum Framework- 2022 (UGCF) is meant to bring about systemic change in the higher education system in the University and align itself with the National Education Policy (NEP)2020. The objectives of NEP are kept in perspective while framing UGCF. It provides flexibility to students so that learners have the ability to choose their learning trajectories and programmes, and thereby choose their paths in life according to their talents and interests.
To achieve the rationale of the UGCF-2022, it is important to mentor are new students regarding the new system and plethora of choices of the different courses, so that they can choose the subjects /courses according to their career need and interests. To attain the actual spirit of the UGCF, after the college orientation and departments orientations, Lady Shri Ram College for women also took the initiative to orient our new students for the different courses which LSR college is offering as the Generic electives courses (GE), Skill enhancement courses (SEC), Value addition courses (VAC) and Ability enhancement courses((AEC). To conduct the orientation program all the departments and different committees for GE, SEC, VAC and AEC have been instrumental. A complied schedule of the orientation programs was designed and shared with the students and completed on November 11, 2022(Friday).
