The emphasis on developing a culture of research in higher education institutions is one of NEP 2020’s most important initiatives. This is thought to be crucial for transforming Indian universities into hubs for knowledge production rather than just knowledge distribution. The NEP seeks to link academic education with real-world applications by integrating research into undergraduate and graduate programs, which will promote technological innovation and societal advancement.
In 2025-26, IQAC-LSR and the Research and Publication Forum organized a series of sessions to support fourth-year students in their research work. Sessions were also organized for the faculty on aspects related to dissertation and academic project supervision. The following sessions were organized over four months.
