Kala 2019 celebrated on 6th September in collaboration with IQAC-LSR was dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary. This year’s theme was Khwaab which was chosen to encourage the children from 8 different NGOs to dream beyond limits and give them the motivation to pursue them. The children very excitedly shared their khwaab – dreams, true to the event’s theme.
NUKKAD The dramatics society of LSR, took everyone through the story about dreams with songs, dance and. In the arts session, children took pencils in their hands, letting their creativity and emotions flow on the paper, filling it with all sorts of colours. One of the in-house projects, Aghaaz organised a paper recycling session in which the process of paper recycling was explained to them.
The children went on to make sure beautiful bookmarks with the recycled paper. One session was dedicated to sharing stories with the children. The stories offered children entertainment as well as valuable lessons to cherish.
