Enactus LSR is a team of 40+ passionate individuals striving to shape the next generation of socially responsible leaders and enterprises. With 12 years of impact, the society continues to drive change through its three flagship projects—Musavvir, Saarthi, and Vichar—which address pressing social and environmental challenges.
Projects in 2024-25
Musavvir revives the traditional Madhubani art form, empowering artisans through sustainable revenue channels by blending contemporary aesthetics with heritage designs. This year, Musavvir generated ¹ 50,000 in sales and upskilled 15+ women in Shastri Nagar. It introduced over five new product lines and ventured into block printing through experiential workshops and art kits. Corporate orders from IIFT, FTI, and others provided Musavvir with a broader platform to showcase its handcrafted products and artisans’ stories—illustrating how heritage can seamlessly integrate into the modern world.
Saarthi follows a waste-to-value approach by transforming elephant dung into eco-friendly products, tackling pollution in Hathigaon, Rajasthan. By creating journals, postcards, and more, it supports both sustainability and local livelihoods. This year, Saarthi piloted bricks and planters and partnered with the National Zoological Park to expand operations in Delhi, generating ¹ 50,000 in revenue.
Vichar, Enactus LSR’s newest initiative, tackles stubble burning through an innovative solution— Biochar. After over a year of intensive research and ¹ 50,000 in funding from organizations like C&S Electricals and Taco Bell, it is poised to revolutionize Indian agriculture. Harnessing Biochar’s diverse applications, Project Vichar envisions transforming millions of lives by promoting cleaner air, better education, and healthier communities through soil amendments, waterless urinals, and air purification. Initiatives Enactus LSR launched over five social initiatives, benefiting underprivileged communities through health camps, menstrual awareness sessions, and sanitary pad distribution in collaboration with organizations like Sarvodaya Healthcare and Project Baala. Stall revenue generated at events like Tarang 2025, as well as from DLF, Select CityWalk, Worldmark, various DU colleges, and corporate partnerships with firms like FTI Consulting, amounted to 1.5 lakh. These funds were reinvested into communities to drive empowerment and development.
The tenure was marked by notable achievements, including securing a spot in the top 20 nationally at the Enactus National Exposition and receiving a Legacy Award for 12 years of impactful work.

In the year 2021-22, Enactus LSR won the ‘Race to Rethink Plastic’ category of the Enactus: 77 Film Festival 2021, and was awarded a cash prize of $2,500 USD at the Enactus World Cup 2021. The Race to Rethink Plastic tackles the plastic waste crisis through entrepreneurial action. The race saw participation from more than 176 entries worldwide including teams from Canada, Brazil, Egypt and Germany. Project Utthaan was the winner of the category which witnessed judging by a diverse and distinguished panel of judges followed by public voting.
Enactus LSR in its endeavor to make business ethics an essential part of its values qualified for the KPMG Business Ethics Grant 2021 for the flagship project, Project Ruhani and was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 for the same.
Enactus LSR was among the top 8 teams in the Enactus India National Competition 2021 where over 75 colleges participated and presented their business models for a sustainable future. LSR presented Project Utthaan, a project that began in 2017 with the goal of uplifting nursery communities by equipping them with the skill of vertical gardening, and Project Ruhani, an initiative that believes holistic education has the power to change millions of lives and consequently, the face of a country.
