LSR was proud to host the esteemed Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi, Prof. PC Joshi as well as the Director of South Campus, Prof. Suman Kundu and the Dean of Colleges, Prof. Balaram Pani on the 22nd of February 2021. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed by the Principal of the college, Dr. Suman Sharma and other faculty members. Thereafter, the delegation addressed the LSR community in the college auditorium wherein they highlighted the college’s achievements. LSR’s standing in the NIRF rankings as one of the best colleges of the country was a highlight. The words of praise by the delegation were motivating and inspiring for the audience.
Dr. Sharma delivered a comprehensive and informative presentation. The diverse aspects of the college’s functioning and its efforts to maintain quality in the teaching-learning process were discussed. In particular, the shift to online education after the pandemic was also discussed. The dignitaries took a tour of the college with Dr. Sharma and other faculty members. The delegation was deeply appreciative of the college’s green practices and environmental consciousness. The visit ended with Dr. Sharma expressing her gratitude to the dignitaries and offering them tokens of appreciation on behalf of the LSR Community. The college looks forward to more such interactive and enlightening visits.
