The LSR community welcomed a new batch of students with great enthusiasm and fervour on August 1, 2025. An elaborate orientation program was organised in the Auditorium to introduce the students to the vision, accomplishments, and activities of the Institution.
The Principal, Prof. Kanika K. Ahuja, encouraged the freshers to celebrate the magic of LSR, pursue academic excellence, and enjoy the cultural facets of college. The various acronyms LSR stands for, such as Leadership with Social Responsibility, Let’s Start a Revolution, Lakshya, Sadhana, and Rachna, were beautifully interwoven in Prof. Ahuja’s address to the gathering. The Principal also felicitated the special guests for the occasion, Professor Rajni Abbi (Director, South Campus), Maharani Mahima Kumari Mewar (MP, Rajsamand, Rajasthan), Alumnae Ms. Anjali Bhardwaj (human rights activist closely associated with the RTI movement), and Ms. Shubha Lal (COO at your-space).
Colourful performances by the music and dance societies of LSR added a festive and celebratory spirit to the proceedings. The stage came alive with the fusion of folk, classical, Indian, and global rhythms. Upon the conclusion of the formal orientation program, the new batch participated in the annual plantation ceremony and undertook specially curated campus tours with faculty members and student associations of their respective departments.
