The College gardens with her velvet lawns, assorted plants, flowers and trees, provide the ideal environment for contemplation. LSR, assisted by dedicated gardeners, has won the prestigious “University Green Cup” for several years running and the gardens are thus a source of great pride. On joining LSR, every student is encouraged to plant and nurture a tree.
The environment club, Prakriti, offers a unique opportunity for aesthetic satisfaction to those interested in gardening and conservation. The wide stretches of the back lawns are especially inviting in the winter, when the sun glistens on the moist grass.
