The teachers and students of the psychology department through its Peer Support Program (a Mental Health initiative led by student volunteers under the supervision of a faculty member) have also been providing assistance and guidance.

In response to the crisis of our times–the global pandemic of COVID-19, the Department of Psychology at LSR would like to extend counselling services to those in need. WHO (1948) defines health as, ‘a complete state of physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.’ Considering the crucial relationship between mind and body, psychosocial support can go a long way in promoting and protecting the health and overall well-being of our communities.
