On 12th October 2025, second-year Psychology Honours students from Lady Shri Ram College for Women conducted an outreach event at Dhobi Ghat Basti, Delhi Cantt, focusing on menstrual health and hygiene practices, for women aged 13–35 years. The intervention included a nukkad natak aimed at increasing awareness, focus group discussions to hear the voices and perspectives of the women of the community, a short screening of a documentary Period – End of Sentence, and the distribution of materials, including flipbooks and sanitary pads, to around 25 participants. The session aimed to increase more open interaction and reduced stigma around menstrual health, while encouraging women to adopt safer hygiene practices and proper disposal methods.
