Integrated Teacher Education Programme

(Recognition Order awaited from NCTE)

The Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP), introduced by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), is a comprehensive four-year undergraduate course designed to develop well-rounded, skilled educators. Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, ITEP seamlessly combines general education with professional teacher training, offering a holistic, multidisciplinary approach to teaching.

This innovative program integrates theoretical knowledge, practical experiences, and internships, equipping students with essential teaching skills and pedagogical expertise. By streamlining the curriculum, ITEP aims to enhance the quality of teacher education and create educators who are ready to excel in both elementary and secondary classrooms.

Graduates of ITEP are fully prepared to meet the challenges of modern education and contribute to shaping the future of the next generation.
