Lady Shri Ram College for Women celebrated its Annual Day on 29th June 2021. The function was held in the on-line mode in view of the pandemic situation in the country. The function began with the college prayer and melodious college song. The Principal Prof. Suman Sharma addressed the gathering and explained about the achievements of the institution in the past two years. Dr Sharma explained how the institution has continued to maintain its focus on quality initiatives despite the challenges brought on by pandemic.
This was followed by addresses by the Chief Guest of the occasion Prof. DP Singh, Chairperson, UGC and Dr. Arun Bharat Ram, Chairperson, Governing Body, LSR. On this occasion, LSR also recognised the achievements of its alumnae. Six alumnae who have made the college proud through their achievements in diverse fields were felicitated – Smita Premchander, Abhilasha Bisht, Geetanjali Goel, Mugdha Sinha, Chetna Singh and Tanushree Roy.
Awards were also given to staff members who have completed 25 years of service to college. These awards were an acknowledgement of the efforts and sincerity of the staff members. Further students who have achieved feats in academics and other aspects of life were also given prizes. The celebrations concluded with a colourful Cultural program by the talented students of LSR.
