An interactive session on Indian Knowledge System and BharatBoudh IKS Examination

An interactive session on Indian Knowledge System and BharatBoudh IKS Examination was held on 22nd January 2026 in the college auditorium of Lady Shri Ram College for Women. The objective of the session was to clear student’s doubts regarding the Indian Knowledge System (IKS nationwide competitive test to be held on 31st January 2026. The speaker of the session was Mr. Hari K. Sharma (IKS Nodal Officer) from the Political Science Department who divided the session into two sections. The first section comprised the nature and purpose of the Indian Knowledge System whereby he emphasized on the importance of rising above orientalism which positions non-western societies and the associated milieu as inferior. The latter part of the session focused on details relating to the IKS test. He informed students that BharatBoudh study materials for the test are available in the college reference library. Additionally, students can refer to books and articles online. The session was conducted in the presence of Prof. Kanika K. Ahuja, Acting Principal who wished the students all the best for the upcoming examination.
