Clearing the cut off is the first step in the admission process to the college.
After declaration of the Cut off admission takes place for 3 Scheduled days as set out by Delhi University. Kindly follow the guidelines to ensure admission to the college/course/subject after fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
Admission to B.A. Programme is specific to subject combination for which there is a distinctive Cut Off.
Change of subject of combination is tantamount to change of course for which one will have to follow the same procedure as cancellation and or new admission.

- What courses does LSR offer?
The wide range of subjects and courses in the Honours programme include:- B.A. Honours in Economics, English, Hindi, History, Journalism, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit and Sociology.
- B.Sc. Honours in Mathematics and Statistics.
- B.Com. Honours (Commerce).
B.A programme course and a four year professional course in Elementary Education are also offered.
In addition LSR conducts a one year Diploma course in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding.
Post graduate courses are conducted in English, Hindi, History, Mathematics, Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology, Sanskrit and Statistics.
- Is any pre-course reading required?
A: No we do not expect students to do any specific pre-course reading but obviously it is advisable to be prepared for your course. We thus advise students to come for the Orientation, which will help them gain a better perspective on what they should expect for the next four years.
Q. What is the minimum percentage criteria for admission to LSR?
A. The minimum percentage required varies across different courses. The previous year’s cut -off percentages are indicative of the following year’s minimum requirements but may be subject to an increase.
Q. Is the cut-off percentage different for students residing outside Delhi?
A. No. Cut-offs are not different for students from outside Delhi.
Q. Are the first lists taken out on the basis of merit or on a first come first basis?
A. The lists are taken out strictly on the basis of merit only.
