Bionote

Dr. Ritika Devi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Elementary Education at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi, since 2024. She brings experience in teacher education, curriculum development, and educational policy research. Prior to joining LSR, she served as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Education at Shri Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University, Gurugram, where, along with her teaching responsibilities, she played key administrative roles as NAAC Coordinator, Scholar Council Coordinator, and Cultural Committee Coordinator.

Her professional journey extends beyond University and College level teaching as she has worked with prominent statutory bodies of Government of India, such as the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC). At NCTE, she served as an Academic Consultant, contributing to the development of the Curriculum Framework & Syllabi, Norms, and Standards for the 4-Year Integrated B.Ed. Programme (Yoga). and in the development of the National Professional Standards for Teachers (NPST) – Guiding Document 2023. In NCTE, she has also been assigned for organising events under G-20 and Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) in different TEIs.  She has also worked as a Young Professional at the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi and as a Project Consultant in the Department of School and Non-Formal Education, National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi

At LSR, she is actively engaged in academic and institutional activities, she took the role of Co-Convenor of REACH – The Equal Opportunity Cell of LSR (2024–2025), with her strong commitment to the issues of inclusion in higher education and to work towards fostering equitable learning environments and advancing discourse on access and opportunity within the academic sphere.
