The NSS volunteers and programme officer Dr.S.N.Major of – Lady Shri Ram College for Women actively participated in the Chalo Yamuna Swachhta Abhiyan on 18th October 2026, an initiative by the Government of Delhi, contributing to the cleanliness of the Yamuna, an integral part of Delhi’s ecological system. The drive was a fruitful and meaningful experience that reinforced the importance of community participation in environmental conservation. It reminds us that keeping our rivers and other vital natural resources clean is a collective responsibility of every citizen. As NSS volunteers, we believe that the change we wish to see begins with conscious individual actions, responsible habits and a shared commitment to preserve our city’s environment.
