Awards and Achievements

  • On 15th November 2025, Anisha Narain, a first-year student of LSR, was awarded the prestigious Rotary Youth Achiever Award for inspiring social service and leadership skills. She has pledged to donate the amount of Rs 1 Lakh received as a prize to the foundation so that the service work can progress more widely
  • The Classical wing of the Dance Society of LSR won First place at BITS Pilani Festival on 10th November 2025. The Choreography wing won the second position in the group category. Additionally, the Classical team won First and Second positions in the Solo category.
  • On 6th November 2025, players of Lady Shriram College won the Delhi University’s Women’s Inter-Collegiate Tennis Tournament defeating Hansraj College 2-0 in the final.
  • Krishna Pathak and Arya Dixit, 2nd-year Political Science student, was awarded Runner-up in the Shri Arun Jaitley Memorial Debate 2024–25 at Shri Ram College of Commerce. Widely regarded as one of the most prestigious debating competitions in Delhi University and across India, the event is renowned for its high cash prize, distinguished legacy, and remarkable reach in the debating circuit.
  • Pranshi Jain, Final Year student of B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics, was selected in the BCN 20 under 20: Emerging Women in Consulting Program 2025 by Bain Capability Network. Chosen among the Top 20 young women across India from 800+ applicants, this recognition celebrates her leadership, analytical ability, and strategic thinking, bringing honor to LSR on a national platform.
  • Ayushi Pasricha, 3rd Year student of B.A. (Hons.) Sociology, published her debut book “What if it was never just ordinary” in 2025 with Notion Press and Amazon KDP. A collection of poems on resilience, emotion+nal journeys, and self-discovery, the book beautifully captures personal experiences while resonating universally, reminding readers how ordinary moments shape extraordinary lives. Further, she secured 2nd Position in the Inter-College Open Mic Competition organized by Hansraj College, University of Delhi, in 2024. Recognized for her performance in spoken word poetry, Ayushi showcased her creativity and artistic expression on a platform that brought together students from across the university.
  • Vaishnavi, 3rd Year student of B.A. (Hons.) Philosophy, has been selected as a Youth Leader at the Young South Asian Leaders Initiative (YSALI) by the U.S. Department of State in 2025. Representing India among 82 delegates from seven South Asian countries, she will attend a fully funded climate-resilience workshop in Nepal in 2026.
  • Parwinder Kaur, a BA Programme student, received the Budding Young Leader Award from Punjab Agricultural University for founding Project Gulzaar. She was twice selected as a delegate at HPAIR (2024 & 2025) and won accolades in debates, poetry, and policy competitions. Her editorial contributions include A Beautiful Scar (2025) and Character Strengths (2021)
  • Raeka Sharma 2nd year student form English Department secured 2nd position in the Photography Competition at the 67th Annual Flower Show organized by the University of Delhi in 2025.
  • Sarita Bhatt, a 3rd-year B.A. (Hons.) Sanskrit student, received the Youth Ambassador Award 2025 from the Bureau of Revived Ancient Soft Skilling (BRASS) on 12 August 2025.
  • Priti Suri, a distinguished lawyer, was honored with the “Woman Lawyer of the Year – India & Middle East” by Thomson Reuters Asian Legal Business in 2023. She is the only Asian recipient of the Mayre Rasmussen Award (2017) by the American Bar Association. Recognized as India’s A-Listed Lawyer by India Business Law Journal annually since 2016.
  • Nandini Duhan, a 3rd-year student of BAP, was awarded Best Judge at the Harvard College Debating Union World Schools – India Invitationals 2025 and Axiom 2024, and Best Invited Judge at Gambit 2025. She also secured 2nd Best Judge at the Heritage Parliamentary Debate 2024 and 3rd Best Judge at Rahat 2024.
  • Ridhima Dugar, a 1st-year Psychology (Hons.) student at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, is the author of the book Rhythm, published by Bookleaf Publishing in 2025 and listed on Amazon. She received the “Ambition Aviator” Award as a member of the 2nd World Teen Parliament and leader of the Blub World Magazine team (2023–24).
  • Nandini Puri, a 1st-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Mathematics student at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, was awarded the prestigious King Constantine Medal 2025 by Round Square for her impactful community initiatives, including leading SAJMUN to raise funds for CRY NGO, organizing eco-drives to clean the Ganges, and founding the newsletter Humanities Herald. She also received the High Commendations Prize 2024 from the Harvard International Review for her research essay titled “A Double-Edged Sword: Huawei’s Academic Outreach and the Shadows of Security Concerns.
  • Ritika Mishra, a 1st-year B.A. (Hons.) English student at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, presented a paper titled “Realism in Foreign and Security Policy: Reassessing Sardar Patel’s Security Vision in the Early Republic” at the Two-Day Rashtriya Ekta (National Unity) Seminar on “The Idea of Indian National Integration through the Vision of the Iron Man of India,” held on 21–22 August 2025 at Pondicherry University.
  • Himanshi Miglani (Batch 2023–26/27), Department of History, has two publications to her credit. Her research paper “Mitigating threats to Gangetic Dolphins by involving multiple stakeholders through incentivizing voluntary action and investments for its conservation” was published in Rivers in Reverse: Making of a Lifeline (5th Nadi Utsav Seminar Volume), IGNCA (September 2025). She also conducted, translated, and transcribed the interview “My Mother Had to Work as a Maid to Earn a Living,” published in the anthology As They Saw It: Partition of 1947 (IGNCA, August 2025). She has been recognised as a National Winner in INTACH HECS’s Capture Culture competition (2024), received the Best Team Award in the Intra-College Public Speaking Tournament by the English Debating Society of LSR (2024), and was conferred the Governor’s Appreciation Diamond Award by Rotary International.
  • Ishani, a student of B.A. (Hons.) Journalism at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, was awarded the KARM Fellowship in August 2023. The three-year graduate fellowship by KARM for Young Indian Women provides financial support, monthly workshops, mentorship, and English classes to empower young women pursuing their undergraduate studies at the University of Delhi.
