Digital India Awareness Workshop was organised by Institution’s Innovation Council, LSR College in collaboration with Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology on 26th August 2025. The Workshop aimed at spreading awareness about India’s digital initiatives and government-led platforms. The Principal, Prof. Kanika K. Ahuja highlighted importance of digital initiatives in her opening remarks. Ms. Kritvi Paliwal, National e Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, introduced speakers of the workshop. The ceremony began with traditional lamp lighting and felicitation of dignitaries. Esteemed speakers from NeGD, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology shared valuable insights: Mr. Vishal Virmani on DigiLocker, Mr. Priyanshu on Cybersecurity and the Digital Data Protection Act, 2023, Mr. Amit Kumar on Open Forge & UMANG, Mr. Aditya Bajpai on MyScheme, and Mr. Shubham Sharma on ABC/NAD-APAAR and the Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme. The workshop concluded with an engaging Digital India Quiz conducted by the NeGD team, followed by prize distribution. The event was highly informative, interactive, and enriching for all participants.
