LSR has a robust in-house freeship and scholarship program to support the educational journeys of students from financially weaker sections of society. The vision of this program is that no student should drop out of education due to inability to pay fees. The freeship and scholarship amount covers the annual fees in a substantial way. Students of all years are selected for freeship on the basis of their financial documents through a transparent process. Scholarships are disbursed to students on the basis of merit cum need basis.
The program enjoys the goodwill of several superannuated teachers and ex-students who have instituted scholarships over the years to support students at LSR in their educational pursuits. Corporates like KPMG and BlackRock have also partnered with LSR to offer scholarships to deserving students. The whole process of application and screening of the applications is performed digitally. Annually, the program covers 300-400 students enrolled in undergraduate and postgraduate degrees offered by college.
