TARANG - Annual Cultural Fest
TARANG, is the annual cultural festival of Lady Shri Ram College. Held every year it is one of the most eagerly awaited festivals of Delhi University. Dedicated to the celebration of creativity, it is a stimulating event brimming with youthful dynamism. TARANG is known for bringing together the best student talent from across the country in fields of music, dance, dramatics, debating, fine arts, quiz, films, photography and other areas of art and culture.
TARANG transforms the campus into a veritable kaleidoscope of people who not only compete in various events but also enjoyed informal events, competitions, band performances, discussions and film screenings that are spread over three days. TARANG also incorporates a food festival, an amalgam of various cuisines and snack brands and hence a prime attraction at the festival.
We also incorporate a Mini-Education Fest within TARANG as well as a host of new informal events such as THE TREASURE HUNT, STREET DANCE, DRAMARAMA, CONFESSIONS OF A TATTOO, etc to provide more variety and cater to the interests of one and all.

NOSTALGIA –– A Grand Alumnae Homecoming
NOSTALGIA, is organized during February/March each year, as a grand home-coming for our Alumnae. It is an occasion for them to meet each other once again and relive the magic of LSR. NOSTALGIA is full of fun. The highlights of the day and most enjoyed events include quizzes conducted by focusing on the life of the college, present as well as past, taking the audience back once again to their times at LSR. In addition musical groups are organized by alumnae.
Further on behalf of the ELSA scholarship committee, the ELSA scholarship recipients are introduced to Alumnae to bring all on the same page.
The newly formed ‘Fun Committee’, new alumna activity ‘Walk for Life’ and the initiative to be started ‘Alumna Fund’ are some other highlights of the meet. The refreshments served are sumptuous and delicious.
As usual the event provides a platform to Alumnae to showcase their creative work through the art & crafts bazaar and a lucky dip to bring back people to their childhood days when one gets so happy to receive a gift.
The Diwali Mela is an annual fun fair with lots of stalls selling lovely eats and arts and crafts set up by students and alumnae, followed by a fireworks display. Its a come one come all affair and everyone has a rollicking time. Some pictures from earlier fairs are displayed below
